Clinical Supervision for Speech and Language Therapists
Clinical Supervision is a vital component of professional development for speech therapists, providing guidance, support, and ongoing education.
All therapists deserve to access high-quality supervision.
Accessing supervision is part of the CPD requirements for Speech and Language Therapists in order to meet their HCPC registration. This is applicable for therapists at all stages in their career.
Information regarding clinical supervision guidelines for Speech and Language Therapists can be found on the RCSLT website - https://www.rcslt.org/members/delivering-quality-services/supervision/supervision-guidance/
At Thrive, our Clinical Supervision is…
No two Speech and Language Therapy job roles are the same. This means that no supervision journey is the same!
We will work with you to create a bespoke clinical supervision relationship that meets YOUR needs. This is regularly reviewed to make sure you are getting the most from your sessions.
Personal
We have had the privilege to work alongside amazing therapists during our careers who have helped us to understand the importance of therapist well-being.
We have integrated this ethos into clinical supervision to ensure that we are empowering and supporting our supervisees on their own well-being journey.
Well-being focused
We can offer Clinical Supervision as a one-off session to work through a specific situation or as a regular agreement.
Sessions can take place in person (we are based in Greater Manchester) or virtually though Microsoft Teams at a mutually convenient time.
Flexible
Our therapists have completed RCSLT approved supervision training including:
- Intandem - “Are you getting enough?” (1) Developing an understanding of supervision theories, models and practice’
